BLOWHOLE AND WINERY TOUR
You will be welcomed on your air conditioned bus by your tour guide for this 4 hour tour. The bus will proceed out of the harbor and your guide will provide information regarding the past & present history of the area. Along the way you will have a close-up look at the stops including picturesque civic plaza to view the magnificent statues of Mexico’s greatest heroes, & the picturesque Bodegas Santo Tomas, Baja California’s oldest winery which was founded in 1888, this interesting and well-narrated tour is followed by complimentary wine tasting.
The highlight of the tour is the drive 25 miles south along the Baja California countryside to the scenic Punta Banda area with the spectacular blowhole called “La Bufadora” while at this stop you’ll have a great time enjoying the flavor of Mexico within the open air market, with a wide selection of national art. Finally you will visit Ensenada’s main shopping district & its many shops offering everything from Mexican handcrafts to imported merchandise, or you can return to the ship.
